Children, Youth, and Families

Volunteers of America serves children, youth and families through all of its programs because each family that is stabilized and independent makes our communities stronger. Our goals are to help children, teens and families survive through crisis and come out more unified and better able to meet the next challenge. Through our caring staff and dedicated volunteers we ensure the social, emotional and academic development of young children, and empower older youth to be physically, emotionally and mentally healthy and ready to enter adulthood. Our programs provide a continuum of care and support for young people and their families through early intervention, crisis intervention, foster family care, and reunification services.
