Mr. Dave Kneipp named VOASCLA CEO in July 2019. Mr. Kneipp has extensive leadership experience and expertise in finance and operations for both non-profit and for-profit organizations. His career started in the early 80’s at Guaranty Bank where he served as Vice President of Commercial Lending until he purchased Acadian Travel agency where he served as CEO until selling the company. As Director of Administration at Our Lady of Mercy Parish for over 5 years he was a source of hope for many who fled to Baton Rouge after Katrina and resided at the church hall in the aftermath of the storm. His caring spirit and firm values has made him a respected man of faith and a strong leader in this community.
Mr. Kneipp has worked in several large industries spanning his almost 40-year career and has overseen accounting and operations processes during most of this time. At Genesis Energy, Dave led a team that created innovative strategies for accounting functions, Human Resources, and IT roles while negotiating service agreements and realizing significant cost savings. His leadership of the Refinery Services group helped grow that division’s profits even during challenging economic times. He is known for his goal-oriented personality, strong work ethic and caring genuine spirit.
The Baton Rouge resident received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Centenary College in Shreveport, La. and is a graduate of the ABA Stonier School of Banking.

Eboness Black
Chief Operating Officer and Vice President for Diversity
Eboness Black has been an employee of Volunteers of America South Central
Eboness Black has been an employee of Volunteers of America South Central Louisiana for over 21 years.
Presently she serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Vice President for Diversity! As COO she oversees the program operations in all four regions of VOASCLA. To include the agency’s overall Diversity initiatives. Eboness has a passion for servant leadership, organization and leadership development. She loves her work at Volunteers of America and is very proud of the work accomplished by Team VOASCLA.
During her leadership of Supportive Services, Eboness was responsible for services to over 2,500 individuals annually, and a $6 million operating budget. In addition, she implemented and expanded veteran services, serving over 3,200 veterans and veteran families since 2001.
Eboness has great respect and appreciation for our veterans. She is the daughter of a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. Her love for service and humanity led her to serve on the Mayor’s Veterans and Homeless Coalitions. As an advocate for resources for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, Eboness is an active board member of the Community Providers Association (CPA) for Human Services providers throughout the state. Eboness has a Master's Degree in Organizational Management and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership. In addition, she has 28 years of experience in Human Services. Eboness became a Commissioned Minister with Volunteers of America in 2013 and was Ordained with Volunteers of America in 2019.
Eboness is married to Tyrone Black and is the proud mother of two (Albert & Amanda) and grandmother of two granddaughters (Zoey & Zyri). In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with family.

Terry Anderson

Terry Anderson has been involved in the non-profit arena since 2009, all
Terry Anderson has been involved in the non-profit arena since 2009, all starting with a past position with Volunteers of America South Central Louisiana and up to his most recent assignment with the Northshore Food Bank in Covington, LA. Terry is dedicated to helping his team meet their goals whether it is implementing Accounting, Finance or Technological strengths to the organization. His experience and extensive training as a CPA have prepared him for the opportunity to work well and efficiently with companies and individuals. Terry has provided accounting management, oversight, and leadership to organizations for over twenty-five years. Terry graduated from LSU with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. ​
Terry is married and with two children, and a grand-child, and lives in Covington, Louisiana where he has resided for the last sixteen years. Terry’s wife is a thirty-year educator for the St. Tammany Parish School Board, and they both enjoy serving as PTA members in their local school system. He is a local sports fan, whether it is attending his son’s soccer games or taking advantage of his season tickets with the New Orleans Saints.

Becky Amerson-Wall

Becky Amerson-Wall has over 25 years of Human Resources experience. She began
Becky Amerson-Wall has over 25 years of Human Resources experience. She began her career at Volunteers of America South Central Louisiana in 2009 as Benefits Manager, then held the title of Human Resources Manager for the past 10 years and she currently serves as Vice President of Human Resources.
Becky is responsible for providing leadership to support short and long term plans through effective Human Resources policies, procedures and practices.
Before her employment with Volunteers of America South Central Louisiana, Becky worked as Human Resources Manager for both Central Progressive Bank and Direct General Insurance Company. Becky holds a Bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Louisiana University and has been in Human Resources since 1997.
Becky is married to Jay Wall and they have one daughter, Lauren. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
