Halliburton Completion Tools partners with Volunteers of America South Central Louisiana

LAFAYETTE - Halliburton Completion Tools Manufacturing Center in Lafayette has collaborated with Volunteers of America South Central Louisiana by donating 55 wellness bags to their Project for Assistance in Transaction from Homelessness (PATH). PATH is a street-level homeless outreach program that identifies and provides services for adults with mental illness or co-occurring mental illness and substance use who are either street-level homeless or residing in a homeless shelter in Lafayette parish. The goals of this service are assisting the individual with ending homelessness and receiving needed support services to remain housed.

Halliburton’s Community Involvement Team, led by Elise Mullins and Eric Boudreaux, hosted a Pack-a-Pack drive with their employees for wellness supplies and a packing party to compile wellness bags. The bags included socks, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, a bar of soap, miniature first aid kits, lip balm, sunscreen, and non-perishable snacks and water. Halliburton is proud of the philanthropic spirit of its employees and their desire to help others. Strengthening the economic and social well-being of the communities where they operate is among their most valued principles.
