Reilly Center Unveils New Counseling Center

In February of this year, after much careful consideration, we made the difficult decision to close our Therapeutic Group Home, Parker House. As a part of our Reilly Center for Children and Families, Parker House allowed us to give the youngest and most vulnerable members of our community a place to live, heal from past trauma, learn to trust again, and find healing in a family environment.
Whether you have assisted us through financial or volunteer support over these past 40 years your partnership has been invaluable. The Reilly Center for Children and Families will continue to operate both the Therapeutic Foster Care and Homebuilders Family Preservation programs and has plans of future growth and new innovative opportunities, including our newest initiative – the Reilly Counseling Center.
The Reilly Counseling Center features a multifaceted, holistic approach to counseling. Emotional, physical, mental, spiritual, social, and relational aspects as a whole are taken into account when identifying and developing individualized treatment plans.
Counseling services are available to children, families, and individuals of all ages. We offer a variety of services including individual, family, and group counseling, play therapy, substance abuse counseling, grief and loss counseling, and trauma counseling.
We are proud at Reilly Counseling Center to offer a number of specialized, evidence-based clinical interventions by experienced licensed clinical staff that are proven highly effective in helping people overcome many different issues. These approaches have been proven effective in treating anxiety, depression, grief, loss, relationship conflicts, trauma, parenting, difficulties with life transitions, and personal growth. PCIT (Parent-Child Interaction Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement De-Sensitization Reprocessing), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy are just a few examples of these highly effective, unique interventions that we offer.
While we still experience the loss of Parker House, we are excited at what the future holds for Reilly Center as we expand our clinical services to serve not only the most vulnerable children and families, but any and all persons in the community who need our help!
