VOAGBR Distributing Vital Supplies to Child Care Centers

Our Partnerships in Child Care team partnered with the LA Department of Education to organize and lead the distribution of vital supplies, so the centers can reopen and welcome children back safely so their parents can return to work. WBRZ highlighted the program.

We are beyond thankful for PICC Director, Karen Powell, the entire PICC team, and the volunteers that helped distribute the supplies to 670 child care centers throughout the state. These centers received:

• 33,350 masks
• 3,700 boxes of facial tissue
• 3,502 gallons of bleach
• 2,668 spray bottles
• 2,368 gallons of hand soap
• 1,334 boxes of gloves
• 1,184 cases of paper towels
• 667 gallons of hand sanitizer
• 667 cases of disinfectant
• 667 no-touch thermometers
