(Temporarily Suspended) - Uplift a Heart by Sharing the Gift of Music
Individual musicians or groups are invited to share their gift of music with our facilities. Any type of music including guitar, jazz, gospel, and contemporary Christian can be shared. Groups may also want to provide refreshments such as popcorn or cookies.

(Temporarily Suspended) - Sundaes on Sundays (or any day!)

Clients who are isolated are at a greater risk of depression, high blood pressure and long-term illness. Help us keep our clients actively engaged by hosting an ice cream social! Volunteer groups must provide party supplies including food, beverages, bowls, and napkins. Additional activities such as a craft project, BINGO, musical performance, etc can also be added to the fun. Activity supplies or small BINGO prizes must be also be provided by volunteers.

(Temporarily Suspended) - Creative Crafts

Volunteer groups can host a craft project for one of our day treatment programs or community homes. Examples include seasonal wreaths, candles, or holiday ornaments. Volunteer groups will need to provide all supplies for the project.

(Temporarily Suspended) - Health and Wellness Speakers

Clients in our programs are eager to learn more about health and wellness. Medical professionals or graduate students are needed to provide interactive workshops that educate our residents about health and wellness-related issues such as diabetes, nutrition and heart disease.

Pack a Pack
Fill a backpack for the homeless. Items such as socks, t-shirts, underwear, hats, ponchos and/or hygiene products (toothbrush, toothpaste, and a bar of soap) are needed. A backpack or other type of bag allows individuals to carry their possessions and important documents around with them.

Host a Collection Drive
Host a collection drive for those in need of the basics. Our programs are always in need of items such as individually wrapped snacks; peanut butter crackers, chips, granola bars, or noodle cups. We desperately need toilet paper, household cleaning items, bath towels, personal hygiene items, razors and shaving cream, laundry detergent, and crossword/word search puzzle books for our clients. The size of the items doesn't matter so think of some creative ways to collect those free bottles of shampoo, conditioner, lotion and tiny bars of hotel soaps from your friends and neighbors. They might be cluttering up your bathroom drawers now, but they can be put to great use in our PATH program which distributes these items to the homeless.

(Temporarily Suspended) - Teach a Class or Demonstrate a Skill

Our Day Program and residential facilities serve adults with a varying level of disabilities and illnesses. Our Clients are eager and they enjoy learning new things. Come share your skill and talents with them. We are open for long term to one day experiences so be sure to bring your talents and skills!

Host a Fundraiser
Host a fundraiser to help support the services we provide. We are excited when someone recognizes our work and hosts a fundraiser for us! For more information call our office at 337.234.5715 to discuss the possibilities!

Going to Church?
Clients in our facilities often find themselves without rides to church services. If you are willing to help, please give us a call at 337.234.5715 to schedule pickups!
